I am a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at the Intelligent Systems Center in the Research and Exploratory Development Department at The Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Lab. Previously, I have worked at Virginia Tech’s Hume Center for National Security and Technology, Axios Engineering (acquired by CACI), and Northrop Grumman all in the areas of software defined radio, signal processing, and machine learning.
I completed my PhD, studying statistical signal processing and non-linear stochastic dependency modeling under Dr. Lamine Mili. Please see my professional resume for more details on my areas of expertise and prior work.
For fun, I like to be in the mountains. Check out my alpine activities here.

I don’t know exactly what you mean, but here’s an example of making contours in Matlab: https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/contour.html

Hello,
I found your empcopula matlab codes through this link. https://stats.stackexchange.com/questions/269350/how-to-generate-data-from-an-empirical-copula-using-copula-package-in-r. I am trying to use your codes. In that comment, you have given a link for a paper by http://www.informs-sim.org/wsc07papers/058.pdf. Did you refer that paper to write your codes or did your refer any thing else?
Thank you.

It was a while ago, so I don’t remember fully, but I believe that linked paper was my reference.

Hi,
thanks for creating and sharing the toolbox!
My question is, would it be possible to model a predictive conditional density function, using your copula toolbox? For example, if I had 3 variables, and would want to get a pdf of that variable, conditional on the other 2?

Hello there and thanks for your comment. I don’t actively work in this field anymore so I recommend either you update the source and submit a pull request or more preferable for your purposes is to use R, they have a lot more active support for copulas. Best of luck!
